There are job vacancies available for the post of a Ward master, scientific assistant and many others. These posts are from various departments including, the labour department. The West Bengal Public service Commission is a state agency that conducts all the civil exams of the state. The office is located in Mudiali, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Road, Kolkata.

  1. Starting date for the application process – 20th of November 2019
  2. Last date for the application date – 10th of December 2019.

What are the qualifications required for the various posts?

  1. Ward master – the candidates are required to have a degree from a recognized university
  2. Scientific assistant (non-destructive testing)- the candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in science, with math’s physics and chemistry as their compulsory subjects
  3. Scientific assistant – the candidates need a bachelor’s degree in science with their compulsory subjects as physics, chemistry and math
  4. Scientific assistant (welders’ certification) – The candidates need a degree from a recognized university.
  5. Scientific assistant (metallography) – the candidates need a bachelor’s degree in science with maths physics and chemistry.
  6. Machine man, laboratory attendant, filter helper, instrument mechanic – It is important that the candidates who apply for this post have cleared the Maadhyamik exam of the West Bengal board of secondary education.

West Bengal Public Service Commission Job Notification: West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has invited applications for the 03 Posts of Assistant Town Planner. The eligible candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format on or before 03 December 2019.

Candidates with specific educational qualification can apply for West Bengal Public Service Commission Job Notification. Candidates having a degree in Civil Engineering/ Architecture, or a second class Master’s Degree in Economics/ Geography can apply for these posts.

Eligibility Criteria 
Educational Qualification: 
Candidates should have a degree in Civil Engineering/ Architecture, or a second class Master’s Degree in Economics/ Geography from a recognized University/ Institute or equivalent 
Candidates should have a Post-graduate degree or diploma in Urban/ Town and Regional Country Planning with one year’s experience in Urban and Regional Planning.

PAY:
Rs.15, 600/- – Rs.42,000/- ( PB- 4A ) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/- 

AGE (As on 01 January 2019)
Not more than 36 (thirty six) years
