IBPS Specialist Officer or SO Prelims 2019 admit cards is expected to be released soon. As per the schedule and the timelines given by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, IBPS SO Prelims admit cards will be out by this week and latest by December 13, 2019.

The IBPS SO 2019 exam is scheduled to be conducted on December 28 and 29. Candidates who have registered to appear for the exam can download their admit cards from– ibps.in once it is made available.

IBPS Clerk 2019 Preliminary Exam

The Institute of banking personal services conducts exam every year to select candidates for the banking post across the country. The preliminary exam for 2019 is scheduled to take place on December 7, 2019. The exam is scheduled to end on December 8, 2019. Reading Comprehension: In this section, an unseen passage or poem is given in the exam and around 5 to 10 questions are asked from the given passage. Questions can be fillers, antonym & synonym and others.

Antonyms and Synonyms: An Antonym is a word that means the opposite of another word. On the other hand, Synonym means the same or nearly the same as the given or asked a word.

Cloze Test: It contains a passage along with the blanks. Candidates need to fill the blanks with an appropriate answer based on the given passage.

Fill in the blanks/Fillers: You need to fill the blanks with the most appropriate option given among the four options.

Spelling Test/Spell Check: Candidates need to select the correct spelling of the word given in the question.

IBPS PO Mains Result 2019: Eligibility criteria

To qualify the Main examination, each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test and also a minimum total score to be considered to be shortlisted for interview.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducted the IBPS PO 2019 main exam for recruiting Probationary Officer on November 30. Being one of the most competitive banking exams in the country, it sees more than 8 lakh candidates apply every year. This time, around 7.5 Lakh candidates appeared for the IBPS PO/MT exam.

IBPS PO main 2019: What is the recruitment for?

There are 4336 vacancies across different states. The prelims exam was held on 12th and 19th October 2019. The final interviews will be conducted in January/February 2020.

IBPS PO mains pattern

The IBPS PO exam had four sectionsReasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude, English LanguageData Interpretation & Analysis and General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness along with Descriptive Test (English Language) and Letter and Essay Writing.

Candidates were given 3 hours and 30 minutes to attempt a total of 155 questions.

IBPS clerk admit card 2019 released |  Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) released the admit card for the upcoming common recruitment test for the posts of the clerical cadre on it official website – ibps.in. Candidates are advised to download their hall tickets at the earliest as the document is available for download only for a limited window between 13 and 30 November.

The preliminary exam for the post of Clerical Cadre will be conducted on 7 and 8 December, 2019. For final selection, candidates will have to clear online examination that will be held in two phases, preliminary and mains.

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the online preliminary exam and accordingly qualify for the online main exam.

The prelims paper will have three parts and will be of 80 minutes. General Intelligence and Reasoning will carry 35 marks and shall be attempted in 20 minutes, Quantitative Aptitude will also carry same weightage and time limit, whereas English Comprehension will be of 30 marks and must be completed in 20 minutes.

Key points to note

Eligibility criteria for the aspiring candidates:

Age limit: An applicant’s age minimum age limit should be 20 years and maximum age limit to 28 years at the time of the application.

Educational qualification: The applicant must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a university recognised by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognised by the Central government.

Applicants must be well adept working on a computer. Applicant should know how to speak, read and write the official language of the state or union territory in which he or she wishes to apply

Test takers must check their roll number, exam date, reporting time, venue as given in the call letters. They should be present at in the exam hall before the time given in admit card. Those who arrive 30 minutes after the reporting time will not get entry in the exam hall. 

IBPS instructs candidates to bring the officially issued IBPS clerk prelims admit card with a photo identity proof in original, and a photocopy. They have to write roll number, registration number on the photocopy of photo identity proof. In the presence of an invigilator, candidates have to place left hand thumb impression clearly on the admit card, and sign in the given space. Call letter, photocopy of photo identity proof suly stapled together should be surrendered to the invigilator when asked for.

Stationery items including pencil, eraser, ballpoint pen should be brought to the exam hall. 

In the exam hall, candidates will be provided with rough sheet to do rough work. All rough work has to be done in those sheets only, and before leaving, they should be surrendered.

Under the important points to remember section in information handout, IBPS says that candidates need to bring the call letter with recent passport size photograph, same as uploaded in form, affixed, and photo identity proof in original and copy. The allowed photo identity proof include aadhar, bank passbook with photograph, driving license, e-aadhar card with a photograph, employee id, identity card issued by a recognised college / university, pan card, passport, photo identity proof issued by a gazetted officer (on official letterhead), photo identity proof issued by a people’s representative (on official letterhead), voter’s card. Ration card and driving license are not accepted.  

Belt, bluetooth, cap, calculators, camera, earphones, electronic pen / scanner, goggles, handbags, hair pins, hair band, health band, log table, microphone, mobile phone, scales, pager, papers, pencil box, pen drive, pouches, watch, wrist watch, writing pad are not allowed inside the hall. Metallic items, edible items, are also not allowed. 

To appear in the IBPS clerk exam 2019, candidates are also not permitted to wear ornaments like rings, earrings, nose pin, chain, necklaces, pendants, badges, brooches. 

IBPS Clerk 2019 preliminary exam will be a one hour long online exam with three sections – english language, numerical ability, reasoning ability. These sections will respectively have 30, 35, and 35 questions of as many marks. Each section will have to be attempted in 20 minutes. Overall, the exam will have 100 questions of 100 marks. Last time IBPS Clerk cut off for general, OBC, SC, ST, EWS were respectively 59.75, 59.75, 53.5, 46.25, 59.75.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) released a notification for the recruitment of 1153 Specialist Officer (SO) posts at 17 nationalized banks early in November. The IBPS SO online application form 2019 is nearing last date on November 26.

After the IBPS SO 2019 notification was released, candidates were able to apply online at the official website ibps.in from November 6.

The IBPS SO (full form: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Specialist Officer) Recruitment exam is conducted for hiring at managerial roles like IT Officer, Agricultural Field Officer, Law Officer, HR/ Personnel Officer etc.
