Bhadli mela in Itkhori is one of the Jharkhand temple festivals, where people worship the ancient temple of Goddess Kali and lord Shiva. It is a religious gathering on Makar Sankaranti. Sangharo Mela in Chatra is held in Sawan Purnima in Jharkhand. Cattle fairs in Jharkhand are of an immense popularity. These are the Kundri Mela which is held on Kartik Purnima and the Kolhaiya Mela held on the day of Magh Panchami. Other cattle fairs in Jharkhand are the Titulawa Mela that is held on Falgun Purnima and the Lawalong Mela, held on the day of the Aghan Purnima.
